The first weekend of Coachella 2014 came and went, but not without a fair share of surprises. A pair came courtesy of singer-songwriter Jhené Aiko, who called both Drake and Childish Gambinoon the stage.
Aiko and the two rappers performed “From Time” from Drizzy’s Nothing Was The Same LP and the Yoko Ono and John Lennon-inspired jam “Bed Peace,” respectively. While Gambino has rocked the Coachella crowd long before joining the West Coast songbird, this was the OVO rapper’s first time at the festival. And fans in the sea of onlookers were very responsive to that fact.
It’s worth noting that Aiko and her “Would You Like A Tour?” partner appeared to have a few moments during their spirited performance.
