A$AP Mob’s A$AP Twelvy admittedly went from ashy to classy, but he hasn’t forgotten his roots. His native New York City is home base for this tale in the official visual for “Xscape.”

With a heavy hitter in A$AP Rocky and a proven hit maker in A$AP Ferg, the Mob’s decision to lead off their L.O.R.D. rollout with this Twelvy cut speaks volumes. Expect a brief departure from the southern influenced NYC collective, as the Uptown resident sounds more like the hometown MCs who came before him.

In the clip, he posts up at various spots in the city with likes of Diddy and his Mob brethren. The clip is overall pretty simple, but dimly lit shots create an almost ominous feel that will keep viewers engaged.

Peep the Simon Davis-directed treatment for “Xscape” below. Give us your thoughts in the comments.
