Jay-Z is definitely not short of fans, but he made it priority while he was visiting Washington D.C. to sit down with his biggest fan, President Obama.

The two have spoken highly of each other for the past year and half but have never had a chance to sit down and chop it up in the Oval office due to hectic schedules, until Tuesday night (March 3) while the rapper was in D.C. for a concert.

Jay-Z, who was once again performing for a packed house, told the crowd: “I just came from the White House.” Sweet!

Jay-Z, who was a big supporter of Obama during the presidential campaign, has never been shy about expressing his belief in what the President stands for. On the night of President Obama’s inauguration, Jay-Z expressed his pleasure in the fact that history was made at that moment.

“You know, [this moment shows] the progression and how far we’ve come as a nation.” Jay-Z said at the inauguration, “It feels good to say that, ’cause I never had that type of feeling to say ‘as a nation,’ like I was part of the American dream. And I believe a lot of people didn’t feel like a part of the American process for so long.”

Jay-Z, in an effort to express his hopes for the momentous occasion even helped pen the lyrics to Young Jeezy’s hit “My President.”
