Grammy Award-winning duo Macklemore and Ryan Lewis may have been quiet on the American scene but take assurance that the international heist is still in full effect.
The Seattle pair unlocked a personal achievement on July 10 when they performed in front of their biggest audience to date of 37,000 people. Taking Dublin, Ireland’s Marley Park by storm, the show reportedly got off to a shaky start when the computer system crashed causing a 30-minute delay.
Apparently all was forgiven as Macklemore posted a celebratory message on his Instagram combined with a bit of reflection.
“Last year in Dublin…2 nights of 12,000 people,” he remembered. “Tonight: 37,000. Our biggest headlining show ever. #2ndhomecoming.”
