Better late than never, right? In any case, we’ve finally caught Joey Fatts’ visual for “Million $ Dreams,” featuring Vince Staples.
Talent runs in the family for these cousins, who both hail from Long Beach. In a climate of ever present gang culture, Fatts presents a day in the life of a Crip. Scenes drenched in black and white reeks of authenticity, as we see the duo and their affiliates get taught lessons from OG in a physical sense, rally the troops, and more.
Fatts produced the song and directed the treatment, which is undoubtedly why it resonates so much.
“Million $ Dreams” is the first leak from Chipper Jones Vol. 3, a follow-up to Fatts’ 2013 project due to release August 3. Stream the video below.
