Converse returns today with another eclectic collaboration from their upcoming CONS EP Vol. 2. This time, it’s Detroit’s own Black Milk and Canadian Jazz trio BADBADNOTGOOD, who team up on a track titled “Now Or Never.”
The latter laced Black Milk with gloomy production, which inspired him to spit rhymes the detail life in the streets — a style that he describes as “that midnight on the corner rap.” His flow is dexterous and often changes, while his wording is delivered with a barber’s precision. And who said Black Milk was lacking as a MC?
It’s unclear exactly when Cons EP Vol. 2 releases, but listeners can whet their appetites with the sounds of Vince Staple and Bad Rabbits’ “Made” here and “Now Or Never” below.
