BJ The Chicago Kid delivers a new jam called “Perfect” that’s a departure from the sexually charged and often immature music that dominates the R&B genre these days. Simply put, this a song for women and it’s accompanied by a pretty ill visual.

Things can get NSFW at times, but it’s all in the spirit of beauty and empowerment. The Los Angeles by way of Chicago singer-songwriter paints a vivid picture to show women that there’s no need to adhere to society’s skewed views of beauty. BJ takes the backseat in the clip, while a beautiful woman receives most of the screen time.

Sans any of the augmentation that run of the mill video vixens boastfully strut, she examines her naturally shapely frame in a mirror (at times unclothed).

Produced by BJ and Marcus Kincy, the track samples Fabolous’ “Thim Slick.” Stream the Jerome D-directed video below.
