Michael Jordan recently had some below-the-belt critiques towards the President’s golf game, telling Ahmad Rashad point blank that Obama is a “sh*tty golfer.”

The President got wind of his Airness’ comments and spotted the jig, playfully accusing MJ of trying to plug his buddy Ahmad Rashad’s Back9Network show while pointing out that the NBA executive had more pressing obligations on his hands.

“Mike and I, we know each other, but I’ve never played golf with him,” the President began while speaking with Wisconsin’s WJMR. “Michael wasn’t very well-informed about this. I think he might’ve just been trying to give Ahmad an extra ratings boost on his show,” he laughed.

But there is no doubt that Michael is a better golfer than I am. Of course if I was playing twice a day for the last 15 years, then that might not be the case. He might want to spend more time thinking about the Bobcats…or the Hornets,” he quickly remembered.

And that was a serious touché for you. After much fanfare, the Charlotte franchise were restored to their former glory this season. Yet, the Hornets has just two wins in their first five games, so the President will likely still be rooting for the D-Rose and the Bulls this year.
