Frequent Lupe Fiasco collaborator Nikki Jean has always been a bit nuanced for Clear Channel but uniquely talented to feed audiophiles a refreshing alternative to melody making.

On that keynote, the beautiful underdog is inserting herself back into topics of conversation with her new Champagne Water EP. The six-track alcoholic solution is an airy and moody venture into the art of rhythm and blues and features production from Double-O of Kidz In The Hall, Like of Pac Div, Nate Fox of Social Experiment, Peter Cottontale, Donnie Trumpet and Nikki herself. Ab-Soul also returns the favor on the title track for her appearance on his album, These Days… earlier this past summer.

The project itself marks the full-length follow-up to her 2011 concept album, Pennies In A Jar.

Champagne Water can be streamed and downloaded for nothing but your attention span. Check it out down below.
