A constant debate that continues to wage on within the African-American community is the topic of dating and relationships.
For Slim Thug, the rapper might have placed himself in the middle of the firing range as he weighs in on the subject and speaks on interracial relationships, feeling that white women treat Black men a lot better than Black women do.
His own blog, posted on VIBE, looked to cause controversy from the first words written as he examined the differences in Black and White women, along with the overall mentality of the Black community.
“My girl is Black and White. I guess the half White in her is where she still cooks and do all the Shyte that I say, so we make it. She just takes care of me and I like that. She don’t be begging and I don’t gotta buy her all this crazy a** Shyte.”
Along with adding to his opinion that Black women need to support Black men more, he stated that the men aren’t so innocent and must check themselves as well.
“Black men are the ones that motherFawkers need [but] I think a lot of them need to step it up too. A Black man who gets a little bread will go make it rain in the club and be broke the next day or instead of him going to invest in a business he gonna go buy new jewelry or a new car and still live in the hood”
Overall, there is something lacking within the community that needs to be taken care of if there can really be progression.
“Black peoples’ mentality is real Fawked up in general [and] it’s affecting everything.”
