It’s surprising to see that Ty Dolla $ign’s new single “Stand For” has yet to make a major impact. But that may change sooner than later; today, the West Coast singer-songwriter debuts the track’s official visual.
Set in Ty Dolla’s native Los Angeles, the clip shows the crooner alongside himself, sort of. He and everyone else in this world tote balloons, but rather than helium-inflated rubber, the string holds a carbon copy of their heads. From our vantage point, this is a metaphor that says people are in charge of themselves and whoever else they decide to give that control.
“Stand For” will appear on Ty Dolla $ign’s upcoming debut album Free TC, due to release soon. Peep the video for “Stand For” below.
