It’s been a conscientious decision of Nicki Minaj’s to translate her emotions only on wax and not in person. But all that changed when she stopped by the Angie Martinez Show to promote her newly debuted album, The Pinkprint.

The 20-track LP is what Nicki maintains is her most emotional body of work yet. And with reason, considering she recorded it during a tumultuous time in her relationship with her childhood friend and longtime supporter Safaree “SB” Samuels.

Nicki and Angie’s exchange went from lighthearted to somber in less than 14 minutes as it turned a corner onto Heartbreak Ave.

“I don’t even know how I’m going to function without that person in my life,” said an emotional Nicki about her now ex-boyfriend . “I’ve never lived my life as a famous person without him. I don’t even know how to –– function.”

Earlier The Barbz explained how her Beyoncé collaboration came into fruition ,  her rapport with Drake, and more.
