Rap fans hoped Meek Mill would hit the ground running with new material after he was released from prison back in December. Though that didn’t happen, the Dreamchasers founder returned last night (January 9) with a pair of records.

Premiered by Funkmaster Flex, the first cut is a freestyle over Raekwon’s classic “Ice Cream” beat. Meek raps, “The revolution shall be televised,” in the track’s opening moment, which set up lines about police brutality, the prison industrial complex, and Black on Black crime.

Yes, this is the same Meek Mill. The MMG founder also speaks about his alleged relationship with Nicki Minaj. Stream the “Ice Cream (Freestyle)” and a cut called “The Get Back” below.
