Amid jarring accusations of sexual assault by over two dozen women, Bill Cosby saw his stand-up comedy show in Hamilton, Ontario Friday night (January 9) become ground zero for protest.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, 30 women stood in unison, slipping off their coats to reveal T-shirts donning the words “We Believe the Women.” Ironically, Cosby tipped his hats to protesters who braved the cold temperatures outside of Hamilton Place theater to “say what they believed in.”

Some of the women blew whistles, while others reiterated the message scribed on their shirts in loud chants as police and security rushed to the scene. Cosby remained calm and can be heard saying, “Stop, stop, let them, let them, stop… let them have their say,” to authorities.

Fans spewed contrary thoughts, supporting the legendary comedian with chants of “We believe the men,” and “We love you Bill.”

The disruption took place during the last of Cosby’s three-show run in Canada. Per usual, cell phone cameras caught the hoopla. See footage below.
