Fox’s Empire is a smash hit. But it seems that the show’s producer, Lee Daniels, is trying to up the drama’s firepower by casting Denzel Washington.

Is Denzel Washington going to make an appearance on Fox’s “Empire” soon?
The leading man was spotted partying with the show’s producer Lee Daniels at Giorgio’s at the Standard Hollywood on Saturday, the night before the SAG Awards.
Daniels Instagrammed a photo of himself and the Oscar winner together Saturday night with a caption, “Trying to talk this one into doing a guest star on #Empire.”
Also spotted in Daniels’ Instagram feed are Laurence Fishburne, Lenny Kravitz and Hollywood honcho Harvey Weinstein. Now that’s power. See what we did there?
