Last night (February 17), Joseph Edgar Foreman, better known to the world as Afroman, was arrested for a vicious haymaker on a female fan who had got a little too close to his comfort zone during a performance in Mississippi.

The attorney for the “Because I Got High” rapper–or whatever he is–called his client’s actions “a completely involuntary reflex reaction to people infringing on his stage space,” and going on to say “it was uncharacteristic behavior that was initiated by outside uncontrolled forces.” However, a closer look into the weed singer’s past reveals this is actually the second time he’s clocked a fan during a show and he was extremely apologetic during his TMZ Live confession.

“It was wrong, I shouldn’t have slapped her with an open hand,” he told Harvey and the boys. “And security should have been there… I’m just here to do me, I shouldn’t, what happened shouldn’t have happened.”

“I knew there was a problem, I mean this ain’t right, I came to sing I didn’t come to go to jail, I didn’t come to hit a heckler, I need some anxiety management,” he finished.

Of course, Twitter wouldn’t let that slide and the Afroman jokes came with full force.
