Charles Hamilton’s return to rap has been swift and full of power moves. On Monday night (March 23), he and Rita Ora hit the Late Night with Seth Meyers stage to perform “NY Raining.”
The song appears on the number one selling Empire soundtrack and will also be housed on Hamilton’s upcoming LP. Manning the piano, the Harlem rapper details love in lighthearted rhymes over lush instrumentation.
