A$AP Rocky is looking to put his stamp on 2015 with his new album, At.Long.Last.A$AP, dropping sooner than later. The Harlem rapper is featured in GQ‘s April 2015 issue and talks about the new project and what goes down in his swanky Hollywood crib.

A$AP is never one to be too serious all the time.

“I’m gonna miss it here. This was a place to f*ck chicks, and I’ve outgrown it.”

As for his album’s title, his real name is Rakim, after all.

“I’m claiming ownership of my legacy. Look at it: At.Long.Last.A$AP. A-L-L-A. Like slang for ‘Allah.’ It’s the return of the god MC. I’m named after Rakim, and I’m finally facing what it means: I was born to do this shit. And I hope I get to do it for a very long time.”

The April 2015 issue of GQ is on newsstands March 31 and peep the full story here.
