Red Bull Music Academy recently connected with Lil Wayne at the Red Bull Guest House 2015 in Miami to discuss all topics, except his ongoing legal strifes with Cash Money Records (all $51M worth).

In turn, the conversation took a musical turn, as the rapper spoke about Tha Carter V, his growth as an artist, and more. He also teased a new song produced by DJ Mustard.

“If my album was wack and I only had that one song on there, I’d still go platinum — double platinum,” said Wayne, boasting about the record. The New Orleans rapper also spoke about reconnecting with Mannie Fresh, who produced Tha Carter V intro.

RBMA Radio later spoke with Fresh about working with present-day Wayne. Hear both interviews below.
