Camp Lo is a veteran rap duo who just dropped a well-received new album, Ragtime Hightimes. They know a thing or two about Hip-Hop, and they’re adamant that Young Money rapper, and fellow The Bronx representer, Cory Gunz is that MC, and is on Kendrick Lamar’s level.

“I think Cory is the K. Dot for over here,” Sonny Cheeba told Hip-Hop Wired when asked who out of the current crop of MCs is Camp Lo checking for.

Added Geechie Suede, who listed J. Cole, Drake, Big K.R.I.T. as some of his favs, “If I had to put my bread on the two. Gunz—he’ll air everything out.”

What do you think of Camp Lo’s take on Cory Gunz?

Check out our Streets Is Talkin segment where Camp Lo also talk Hip-Hop getting hijacked for its fashion sense, their longevity and how Suede once stood in front of a gun for Cheeba.
