Wale has been Hip-Hop’s official ambassador for all things Seinfeld, so it’s only right that TBS insert him in the equation as the famed series is set to go digital.

The Album About Nothing scribe has just been announced as the official host for the network’s summer-long Seinfeld Remix. Starting Monday June 15, Wale will be showcasing his favorite episodes inspired from the exploits of Jerry and the crew. The MMG rapper’s aforementioned Seinfeld-hosted album with be mixed and mashed, sliced and diced with episodes so fans can understand in full how the two mediums meet.

The Seinfeld Remix apexes a big resurgence in the top-rated TV show as of late. Hulu, who has obtained the licensing for the show to stream (legally) for the first time ever, has just set up a pop-up replica of Jerry’s apartment in the show.

“Seinfeld is one of those rare shows that continues to influence pop culture to this day, so what better way to launch its streaming debut than to celebrate the fans and give them a chance to relive the scenes from some of the most iconic moments in TV history,” Jenny Wall, Hulu’s Senior VP of Marketing, said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter.

Wale is making some statements of his own with this nationally syndicated look to match his Billboard #1 album.

Watch the promo for the Seinfeld Remix below. The episodes will air on weekdays at 6pm EST.
