The Rocky franchise appears that it will never die, even after Apollo Creed literally got the soul beat out of him in the fourth installment.

Warner Bros. has devised an ingenious way to keep the storyline thriving and this round, it’s the seed of the greatest Black fictional boxer of all-time carrying the torch through the streets of Philadelphia (no Bruce Springsteen).

This seventh Rocky film is simply known as Creed.

Michael B. Jordan stars as Adonis Johnson Creed, the determined son who never got to know his father but still plans to trace his legacy in the ring. As he fights his way up the ranks, the inevitable happens and Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) steps in to train him.

Aside from the revamped nostalgia the film embodies in the engaging teaser, Creed also reunites Jordan with director Ryan Coogler, who also steered the ship for the critically acclaimed Fruitvale Station in 2013.

Wood Harris, Tessa Thompson, Tony Bellew and the talents of Phylicia Rashād also round out the cast.

Watch the official Creed trailer down below. The film hits theaters on November 25, 2015.
