If you spent the 4th of July holiday weekend anywhere other than New Orleans, social media most likely told you the city was LIT with activity. You can partially thank Seagram’s Gin for that. The prestigious alcohol brand rounded up plenty of celebs in town for the annual Essence Fest and threw three days worth of events at the House of Blues New Orleans, located in the heart of the famous French Quarter.
Actor Lance Gross celebrated his 33rd birthday while Power‘s Omari Hardwick and R&B vets Tank and Avant got busy the next night. On Sunday, Nelly and the lovely Miss Jackson took center stage alongside hitmaker Bryan Michael Cox to close down the House of Blues in style.
Kid ‘N Play, Marsha Ambrosius BET’s Candice B from About The Business and the legendary Kid Capri among others let their presence be felt throughout the NOLA nightlife.
