The great Damon Wayans made an appearance on The Breakfast Club this morning to promote an upcoming performance and his family history but he slipped up on some other info in the process.
According to the tenured actor, the sealed Tracy Morgan Walmart settlement was worth $90 million. The subject came up in casual conversation when Angela Yee asked Wayans about comedians taking risks and Tracy’s finances came up in conversation.
Reps for Morgan, who suffered a brain injury in a 2014 accident with a Walmart truck, tell TMZ, “Tracy has had no contact with Mr. Wayans since before the accident so there is no way he would be able to know this and thus is false,” but you know how Hollywood talks.
