Christina Milian’s split from Lil Wayne won’t ruin her ongoing dream of music stardom. The “singer” is releasing an “album” later this year, so she’s staying on Young Money.
With everything that Tunechi’s been going through on his own label, it’s no wonder that Milian wouldn’t bother trying to get out of her contract. We also have to factor in the possibility that she might not get signed anywhere else — for a while at least.
If you remember, Milian was once signed to Myspace Records…she clearly knows how to pick the right imprint. She was also under her ex-husband, The Dream’s, Radio Killah label.
Her exquisite fusion of business and pleasure hasn’t worked in the past, which is why dating and “working” with Wayne always seemed like a curious life choice.
In the end, the couple crashed and burned with their attempt at a music collaboration, but Milian earned a second season of her reality show.
Maybe music isn’t her true calling?
