There is a pivotal moment on Keyshia Cole’s last visit to The Breakfast Club where she reluctantly admits that her estranged husband, Daniel “Booby” Gibson is a talented individual. The once reality star pairing’s breakdown of their marriage is heavily archived material, but the mistakes of yesterday is what the former NBA basketball player says has built up his next career endeavor as a Hip-Hop artist.
In an exclusive sitdown with Hip-Hop Wired, Gibson, 29, reveals how he plans on making a name for himself without excessively paying his way into fan’s timelines. The Houston native reveals how the many of the city’s vast rap staples (especially Paul Wall) have given him words of encouragement after actually hearing what he has to cook up in the studio. Hip-Hop Wired was also privy to hear his new single and we can honestly say without legitimate bias, that it’s a hit record.
Watch our interview with Daniel “Booby” Gibson (a nickname that shall remain his rap name) and look out for his new music dropping soon. As in, tomorrow.
In the meantime, follow him on Twitter @BooBysWorld1.
