Dallas Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy returned to the NFL Sunday after serving a four-game suspension for domestic violence. Hardy’s reinstatement to the game was met with criticism, and it appears that he has no intentions of worrying about what anyone says about it.
As reported by the good folks over at Crooks and Liars, Fox Sports 1 host Katie Nolan unleashed a blistering critique of Hardy returning to the game after he was connected to at least four instances of domestic violence against his ex-girlfriend.
Nolan noted that Hardy hasn’t learned a thing in his time off as evidenced by a recent interview leading up to Sunday’s contest against the New England Patriots. Hardy told reporters that he was ready to come out “guns blazing,” and complimented New England quarterback Tom Brady’s wife.
Jerry Jones defended the player, saying that media and observers are being especially tough on him considering his recent legal issues. Jones said that Hardy was in a “football setting” when he was in the interview and was asked a question regarding the upcoming game. Nolan isn’t buying it, however.
