A scandal is unfolding at the University of Notre Dame involving a tutor at the famed learning institution. A white tutor at the center of the chatter has been fired after it was alleged she forced Black student athletes to have sex with her daughter.

The New York Daily News exclusively obtained a report regarding the firing of the academic tutor, which included details of Notre Dame’s investigation into the matter. Last Friday, one of the students filed a lawsuit against the school with the added detail that the tutor urged the sex with the daughter because it was “sexually and racially motivated” and traded for bumped up grades.

From the Daily News:

On Friday, one of the students sued the school, arguing the tutor orchestrated “sexually and racially motivated” trysts with her daughter by including condoms, transportation and hotel rooms for academic favors.

“She was exploiting African-American males,” said lawyer Peter J. Agostino, who is representing the unnamed student. “He was invited to the family’s private home to facilitate the relationship.”

The student started at Notre Dame on an academic scholarship in the fall of 2014, according to his attorney.

The alleged five-month relationship did not start until he sought tutoring lessons during this year’s spring semester, according to the lawsuit.

Those lessons quickly escalated to out-of-state sexual liaisons between her daughter, who was also at the school, and the student.

Other explosive items of the suit allege that the tutor inquired of the frequency of the sexual liaisons and made crude remarks about the student’s race and genitalia.

Notre Dame officials are calling the allegations untrue.
