When Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe effortlessly rapped a rendition of Blackalicious‘ 1999 classic track “Alphabet Aerobics” on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, heads definitely turned. Blackalicious returns to the scene once more with a sports-themed update of the track for the Bleacher Report titled “Sports Alphabet,” complete with an accompanying video.

More from the press release announcing the collaboration:

In collaboration with legendary hiphop duo BLACKALICIOUS and advertising agency barrettSF, BLEACHER REPORT have launched their very first multi-platform brand campaign, “Sports Alphabet.”

Bleacher Report enticed Blackalicious into the studio to update, remix and transform the infectious A-Z rhyming style of their 1999 hit single “Alphabet Aerobics,” from the seminal EP A2G, in which the Gift of Gab navigates alphabet rhymes at an increasingly alarming rate, to create the new “Sports Alphabet” update.

Daniel Radcliffe famously rapped the song during an iconic performance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in October 2014 which has already racked up over 50million views on Youtube.

“I thought idea was really dope. Any opportunity to challenge myself as a lyricist is great,” says Blackalicious’ Gift of Gab. “The lyrics pretty much flew out naturally and the end result is incredible. The corresponding visuals to the lyrics are perfect. Shout out to Bleacher Report for bringing this opportunity to us.”

The “Sports Alphabet” video made its debut today at 10:00 ET, and it will also air across Turner Sports digital programming ahead of a wider debut on Thursday night’s Inside The NBA show.
