Ohio Man Faces $500 Daily Fine Over Zombie Nativity Scene

A dad in Ohio flipped the whole nativity scene theme to feature nothing but zombies. Some of his neighbors are pissed, and (rightfully) hella scared.

Jason Dixon has been doing this for the past two years now. “I wanted a nativity scene,” he told Fox 19. “I had been talking about the zombie-themed nativity scene for a long time.”

He claims the reaction are split between adoration and extreme disdain/fear. Dixon’s dad hates his Christmas decoration, and some Christian protestors were handing out pamphlets in front of his work of art.

“I think it’s the theme,” Dixon explains. “It just rubs people the wrong way and it puts the spotlight on me. That’s why they’re coming down so hard on me.”

If Dixon doesn’t take the nativity scene down, he faces a $500 daily fine for violating a zoning code.
