Meek Mill and Michael Blackson traded insults over social media after the comedian took a jab at the rapper via an Instagram post. The Philadelphia natives appeared recently together at a charity event, but apparently that doesn’t mean the pair are chums.
It all began Wednesday (Dec. 23) when Blackson posted a photo featuring himself, Meek Mill and Empire’s Bryshere Y. Gray. The caption for the photo read, “Home. In Philly giving back to the elderly with Cookie’s son and Twitter fingers” which was met with the expected response.
Meek fired back on Instagram by taking a photo of Blackson’s sneakers in which he said were a pair of fake Gucci shoes. Blackson acknowledged the joke but used his response to reference the battle Meek had with Drake by tweeting, “He roasted me immediately but took days to reply to that light skin neega.”
