Faith Evans says she’s nearing the completion of a duet record with her deceased ex-husband, Christopher “The Notorious B.I.G.” Wallace. The R&B singer and songwriter sat down with Dame Dash for his radio program where she discussed the big news.

Evans called  The Dame Dash Radio Show and opened up the interview discussing the duet project, with the working title The King & I. The project, which has the endorsement of Bigge’s mother, has been in the works for some time according to Evans.

“I had no idea how I was gonna even go about it but it’s been coming along pretty awesome,” shared Evans. “I definitely feel like if he was alive, I know ultimately we would have done something like this.”

Evans adds, “But the way this stuff is coming together and the way I’m using his vocals, it’s giving this stuff new life. I think people are really gonna enjoy it.”

The vocalist was asked by Dash about performing the new tracks, which Evans responded that there are tentative plans to use a hologram in performances and may also employ the visual tactic for the first video. Evans continued by saying that the plans for the record and its visual performance is all contingent on costs and budget.

In the same interview, Dash also interviewed State Property’s Oschino.
