2 Chainz appeared on the Drink Champs podcast and gave the skinny on why Actavis Syrup has been banned and the prices went up.
The “Codeine Cowboy” sat with N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN to talk about why the champagne of syrup is so hard to find these days.
He explains:
“So when they said they were going to stop making Actavis way back when…once Justin Bieber and a few other artists of high caliber started getting caught with this kind of drink…In my opinion the company gave a warning they were shutting down.”
Being the business man that he is, 2 Chainz bought himself a little extra Actavis when he heard that the supply was going to be cut. He also revealed that guys like him do not sip syrup everyday, because they have Beyonce concerts to perform at and Lil Wayne video shoots to do.
