No Chance.
The photo with a blacked out Chance The Rapper appeared on Vic’s Instagram yesterday [June 9], but it looks like Vic took the advice of one of the commenters and took it down shortly after.
No explanation of why this photo was posted has appeared yet. But, things can’t be that bad. Especially since Vic Mensa’s Twitter still has the original photo with Chance in it up. Also, Chance still has a photo from the same moment posted on his Instagram page as well.
The two Chicago rappers have a history that goes back to their high school years. They both came on the seen as members of the SaveMoney collective and worked with each other frequently appearing on each other’s projects early in their careers. Vic and Chance also both appeared on the 2014 XXL Freshman cover together.
Both rappers are currently enjoying critical acclaim right now as Chance’s Coloring Book album and Vic’s There’s Alot Going On EP are both in heavy rotation across the country.
