DJ Drama formally addressed his role in the beef between Drake and Meek Mill. It turns out that the Aphilliates DJ supplied Meek Mill with some privileged info, and the Philly rapper just ran with it.

Barack O’Drama hit up Ebro In The AM on Hot 97 to discuss his new album, Quality Street Music 2, other topics. So of course Drake vs Meek Mill came up.

“I’m gonna say this and then we’re gonna put it to rest,” said Drama. “My involvement in the situation was that my man thought he was getting dissed.”

Meek was referencing the “girl of your dreams” line on “R.I.C.O.”

However, Drama told Meek that there no way the line was aimed at him because Drake didn’t actually write the verse (they weren’t “technically his bars”). And that was pretty much Drama’s involvement since he maintains he never sent anyone those infamous Drake reference tracks.

Drama wanted no parts of the struggle. He added, “It goes against my business and it goes against my ethics. I had a conversation with my man about something, and it from there it just blew out of proportion.”
