In his heyday Shaquille O’Neal was considered both an unstoppable force and immovable object. Now his son, blue chip prospect Shareef O’Neal, seems like he’s going to follow in his father’s footsteps.
A few days ago the 6’ 9” high school sophomore power forward posted a clip of himself rocking a rim right above his legendary 7’1” father and in the process demonstrated that he’s well on his way to being a big problem. No, Shaq wasn’t actually playing defense—just showing his son how to attack the rim even if a defender is in his path.
Let’s just hope he didn’t inherit his fathers free throw “ability.”
Check out the clip and see what may await the NBA in the future.
