Monica, the wife of NBA baller Shannon Brown, says the cheating rumors regarding her husband is the work of a possessed stalker. The R&B singer responded to the supposed scandal and says that the FBI is currently investigating the matter.

Shannon Brown looked like the worst husband and father of the year yesterday when news broke that he fathered a child with another woman. The marriage between the pair seemed to be one of the more solid celebrity unions so fans were naturally up in arms about the rumors.

The chatter was smashed to bits after blog and Instagram page Industry on Blast retracted their story after revealing they’ve been duped by a stalker and had all the receipts.

From IOB’s IG:

With such sadness and remorse that we have to retract a JUICY STORY. We at IOB are learning as we go and this past month we had been communicating with a psychotic stalker. This woman stalked #MonicaBrown, #ShannonBrown and their families and friends. She sent us her phone number (***)***-*** and she dmed us on twitter several times as well as email. She sent us photos of the pregnancy test being sent to Monica’s brother and she sent baby photos which turned out to be STOLEN. The reason we waited so long to formulate the story was we needed more proof. Once she sent an alleged NUDE photo from a DM screenshot she had in her old phone – we said BINGO!  We are huge fans of Monica at IOB and we only wanted to bring forward a serious situation and that was this woman needing a father in her daughter’s life. Sadly, this story was fabricated by a person who needs to seek mental help.

The blog also apologized to the family of the baby whose photos were stolen by the alleged stalker to fabricate the woman’s story.  Monica thanked the IOB staff for their retraction and said the rest is up to the FBI at this juncture.

This is good news for Shannon Brown and Monica. Hopefully, this is the last we’ll hear of this.
