Another day, another dumbass quote from Donald Trump. Today (Aug. 9), during a rally in Wilmington, North Carolina, Cheeto Jesus basically invited the gun nuts, ahem, gun rights activists to take out Hillary Clinton.
“And by the way, if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks,” said Trump, adding over the boos (aimed at Clinton) of the crowd. “Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is. I don’t know.”
Trump supporters are already copping pleas saying he was joking. There’s nothing funny about even remotely calling for the assassination of a presidential candidate, though.
The real jokes is that this guy is the GOP candidate.
