Big Boi is reuniting with one of his oldest pals in the rap game to release a new project. No, not Andre 3000. It’s Killer Mike.

In an interview with SPIN magazine Big Boi revealed that he and Killer Mike are planning on dropping a joint project together in the near future.

Per SPIN:

Wait until you hear this new s**t. Killer Mike is busy as hell. I mean, he’ll come straight from the airport and go into the studio and bust on two or three records and come back again the next day. We’re just trying to put as many ideas out there as possible. And me and Killer Mike, we’re gonna put out a little EP after I put out my next solo record or something like that. We’ve been entertaining the idea for a long time and finally got enough songs to where we just said the other night that we’re gonna do it. You getting a scoop there.

Killer Mike was introduced to a national audience rapping alongside Big Boi with his scene-stealing verses on Outkast’s “Snappin And Trappin” from their 2000 Stankonia. From there the duo would record several songs together with the most recent being Big Boi appearing on the first Run The Jewels album and Killer Mike returning the favor rapping on the 2015 Big Grams album.
