Metro Boomin let it be known that he doesn’t trust Donald Trump earlier this year and now he is putting that anti-trust into action. The producer will be hosting a “Young Metro Don’t Trust Trump” event in New York City on Nov. 4.

The hit-making producer tells Complex:

“With the election coming, I think it’s time to speak out, and not like speak out by getting extra political with this sh*t, but let people know. So letting y’all know I don’t trust him, you don’t trust him and go ahead and celebrate that…And also, people love coming to concerts and coming together, though at the same time it’s not all about that, but sharing the message and the same view. With it so close to the election, I thought, let’s have this concert and celebrate this and all agree that we can’t have this guy as our President.”

Metro Boomin has also announced that the proceeds from the event will go towards a new scholarship fund he has launched to send a St. Louis high school graduate to Morehouse College in Atlanta, every year. The path is the same that Metro, a St. Louis native took. Attending Morehouse is how he wound up in Atlanta and became a producer for Future and other artists.
