The NBA preseason is underway and one of the biggest question of the offseason regarding whether or not the players will protest the national anthem has been answered.

On Tuesday (Oct. 4), the New York Knicks visited the Houston Rockets and before the floor waxing of the former got underway the players from both teams stood together arm in arm in a show of unity during the national anthem.

Unlike the NFL where players have the choice to sit or stand for the national anthem, NBA players are required by league rule to stand for the star spangled banner on a nightly basis.

Fortunately the players were able to honor the rule while sending the message that they do indeed support Colin Kaepernick’s stance on racial injustice in America today.

Peep the clip below and sound off if you think this was the proper move on the players behalf.
