DMX sends out some positive energy to Kanye West.

If there’s anybody that can tell Kanye West that it gets greater later, it’s DMX. The embattled rap legend has been rapping about his struggles with depression and other mental illnesses since he came in the game in 1998. Over the last 20 years we’ve seen X’s highest ups and lowest downs and his music and interviews have reflected it all.

Like DMD, West is also an emotional artist who’s music and actions reflects the mental state he’s in at any given time. Now that he is reportedly going through some things via exhaustion, many have offered support and criticism. X is on the former side and want’s Kanye to know that he can and will get through this.

In an Instagram post, DMX offered these words of encouragement:

“I want to give a special shout out to Kanye. Let him know that my prayers are with him. My family’s prayers are with him. Remind him that when God is for you, who can be against you? No one or nothing. Stand strong, brother. God is in your corner.”

Classy move X. The show of support comes in a cloud of comments that have been both supportive and skeptical of West’ recent tribulations. On one end you have some artists who have been praying for Kanye, then you have some like Snoop Dogg simply saying “that n*gga crazy,” and now we have seen rumblings that Kanye’s faking the whole thing. Only time will tell.
