Trump flunky Kellyanne Conway outdid herself this weekend. While defending White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer on Sunday on Meet The Press, she said Cheeto Jesus’ fellow crony had only presented “alternative facts.”
La Naranja was pissed the media reported the facts, the crowd for his inauguration was nowhere near as massive as Obama’s. The facts said this, they tried to say they were wrong.
“Don’t be so overly dramatic about it, Chuck,” said Conway. “They’re saying it’s a falsehood and our press secretary, Sean Spicer, gave alternative facts to that.”
Said Todd, “Alternative facts! Four of the five facts that he uttered were just not true. Alternative facts are not facts, they’re falsehoods.”
Needless to say, the audacity of the Conway spin quickly went viral.
Also, we’re not going to give Chris Hayes a pass for referring to blatant lies as “falsehoods.” Call a spade a spade, and talk simply, it’s what the Cheeto fanatics respond to after all. Worth considering, no?
