Chance The Rapper has been named as a headliner at your auntie’s favorite festival.
The Chicago rapper joins an already star-studded line-up that includes Diana Ross, John Legend, Mary J. Blige and Solange. The inclusion could be an attempt at getting a younger crowd into the festival that usually caters to grown-ass women who aren’t necessarily interested in young, new rappers. But hey, Chance is an all-around likable guy that makes music that everybody can listen to.
Other performers on the bill include BJ The Chicago Kid, Monica, Emily Estefan and Elle Varner. As far as the rap representation, Master P will be spearheading No Limit reunion set which makes sense since the festival is held in New Orleans. Remy Ma is also included in the line-up.
The three-day festival starts on Friday, June 30. Tickets and ticket packages are available now.
