UCLA basketball star Lonzo Ball’s dad, LaVar Ball, wants all the chips, figuratively and literally. The elder Ball is pretty much demanding a shoe company fork over $1B for the sponsorship services of his three basketball star sons.

Ball made the revelation during an interview with USA Today.

During the interview, Ball also said he is prepared to package Lonzo and his two other sons — LiAngelo, a high school senior who has signed with UCLA, and LaMelo, a high school sophomore who has committed to UCLA — for a marketing deal with Nike, Adidas or Under Armour.

“A billion dollars, it has to be there,” Ball said. “That’s our number, a billion, straight out of the gate. And you don’t even have to give it to me all up front. Give us $100 mil over 10 years.”

Lonzo is indeed a stud, his other two sons haven’t even gotten to college yet. And while Lonzo is projected to be a Top 3 pick in the NBA draft, there are no guarantees to stardom, not to mention whether or not he’ll be able to move kicks out the store.

The youngest brother did drop 92 points in a game, though.

If Nike, adidas or Under Armour don’t bite, LaVar Ball is prepared to have his son’s rep his own Big Baller Brand.

Listen to Ball explain his “investment” in his sons, while whipping up breakfast below. You might not want to doubt the guy.
