Wiz Khalifa has just broken a record that many thought could not be broken. “See You Again” is now the most watched Youtube video, ever.

According to Forbes, the track has garnered over 2.9 billion, yes billion, views since being uploaded to the online streaming service in 2015.

Originally featured on the Furious 7 soundtrack, the song paid tribute to the late actor Paul Walker who passed before the film finished shooting. This is a pretty incredible feat considering the previously most viewed clip was Psy’s K-Pop mega smash hit “Gangnam Style.”

Naturally, Khalifa took to social media to thank his fans saying “Thank you guys for making See you again the #1 most viewed video in YouTube history. Your love and support is very much appreciated. #tgod”.

Charlie Puth, who contributed his vocals to the Hip-Hop ballad, was also floored by the news stating “For the record, I joined @YouTube in 2007 hoping to make a video that would reach 10,000 views. Just heard about See You Again…wow.”

“See You Again” continues to be both musician’s biggest song to date scoring them a number one single on the Billboard Hot 100 and three Grammy nominations. Clap for ’em.
