R. Kelly has come forth to deny the sweeping allegations that he’s been holding a number of women under cult-like control in his homes. Adding to this modern day mystery is one of the alleged victims has also revealed that she is not under Kelly’s hold although she’s being vague on what exactly her situation is.

TMZ managed to secure an exclusive quote from Kelly’s rep, in which the R&B singer and songwriter has denied any wrongdoing and says he’s intending to go after the accusers in the matter. The outlet confirmed that police in both Georgia and Illinois, where Kelly owns homes, performed a welfare check on one missing woman at the center of an explosive Buzzfeed News report where the allegations Kelly was holding six women captive first took hold.

Jocelyn Savage, 21, was the unnamed woman whose parents say they’ve been trying since December 2016 to bring her home after an initial meeting between Kelly and the family to mentor the aspiring singer. Savage said she’s fine in footage provided to TMZ and said she cut her parents off due to the aggressive actions of her father against others. Adding an interesting wrinkle to this latest development is that Savage would not reveal her location.

Savage’s father believes that his daughter is suffering from Stockholm Syndrome and not speaking as a person in command of their faculties. This situation is sure to develop and we’ll be back with updates and new reports as they happen.
