Inept cops have been taking L’s left and right this summer. The Baltimore Police have outdone other departments by recording themselves planting drugs for the second time in a matter of weeks.

In footage obtained by the Baltimore public defender’s office, members of the BCPD are seen planting drugs in a man’s automobile after a routine traffic stop.

In the clip, one of the men on duty searches through the driver’s seat but was unsuccessful. Twenty minutes later or so another officer appears searching the exact same area of the car finding planted drugs saying, “Oh yeah. That’s the weed smell right there.”

The stop originally occurred on November 29, 2016, but according to The Baltimore Sun the charges have since been dropped.

This is not the first time this division has been caught playing dirty. In July other members of the force were caught red handed planting dope in a suspect’s backyard; that incident was also captured by the officer’s body camera.

Baltimore Police Commissioner Kevin Davis that the department is investigating the newest footage. He also reminded his staff about the proper procedure regarding the use of body cameras. “In the event your body worn camera is not activated during the recovery of evidence, under no circumstances shall you attempt to recreate the recovery of evidence” he explained in a statement.

You can view the clip in its entirety below.

Given the back to back incidents do you think Baltimore cops are trained to stage drug seizures? Sound off below.
