Donald Trump took questions from the press today and it was completely bonkers. An unhinged Cheeto used the struggle term “alt-left,” compared struggle Confederate generals to Founding Fathers and double down on his “both sides” are at faulty malarkey regarding the toxic, and deadly, protests in Charlottesville.

The presser was supposed to be about Trump’s ambitions to bolster the USA’s infrastructure. But of course, the media had pressing questions about his delayed response to the racist protests in Charlottesville, and that’s when things went off the rails, expeditiously.

Where to begin?

Trump said his statement condemning white supremacists took a while because he needed all the facts.

There was Trump asking a reporter to define the alt-right…and then going left.

Then he said that the protesters on Friday night were peaceful. Yeah, the same dolts with the tiki torches.

Also, that “both sides” were at fault. This is where we point out one side featured swastika brandishing neo nazis and white supremacists.

While likening the protesters to “victims,” he compared Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson, Confederate general who LOST, to Founding Father like George Washington and Thomas Jefferson.

Said Trump, “Many of those people were there to protest the taking down of the statue of Robert E. Lee. So this week, it’s Robert E. Lee, I noticed that Stonewall Jackson’s coming down. I wonder, is it George Washington next week? And is it Thomas Jefferson the week after. You know, you really do have to ask yourself, where does it stop?”
