Migos might be known for their verbal pyrotechnics during their verse but away from music, Quavo, Take, and Offset aren’t known to be verbose. A recent interview featuring the Atlanta trio was cut short immediately after Offset was asked about his recent engagement to Cardi B.
Migos sat down with San Antonio radio personality Dana Cortez after their set at the Mala Luna Music Festival this past Sunday (Oct. 29). While the start of the interview went according to plan, things got derailed when Cortez inquired about Offset’s fiancee.

Fans were still buzzing about rapper Cardi B’s engagement to Offset, of Migos, when he and the group headlined the Mala Luna Music Festival in San Antonio Sunday and then sat down with a local radio host.
The question on everyone’s minds was one of the first – and the last – Dana Cortez, of The Dana Cortez morning show on 98.5 The Beat, was able to ask.
Offset gamely answered the question but the interview ended abruptly immediately after.
To be fair, it appeared the group had a pressing engagement that they had to get to after shooting looks to a person off camera, so it didn’t appear to be because of the Cardi question.
Offset jetted from the scene first but Quavo and Takeoff did their best to stick around and gamely provide drops for Cortez despite the abrupt ending.
